My Chemical Romance frontman Gerard Way paid tribute to the late Power Trip lead singer Riley Gale during the band's new reunion tour stop in England over the weekend. After being told the hat he was wearing looked like something Gale would wear he told the crowd, “I was so inspired by that f**king dude. They were gonna be one of the bands that were gonna open for us. I was gonna ask at least . . . They were a great f**king band. Rest in peace, Riley, motherf**ker!”
Gale died in 2020, when My Chemical Romance's tour was originally supposed to take place but was postponed due to Covid.
Opening bands for this tour include Turnstile, Soul Glo, Midtown, Devil Master and Dilly Dally.
